After an IV drip at DripWell in Bedford NH, leave the bandage on for a bit, do not yank the site, and drink water. Skip a hard workout the same hour if you feel lightheaded. Call (603) 714-1698 if the site looks wrong. This is practical aftercare, not medical advice.
Leave the bandage on for a bit
A licensed RN places every drip and stays through it. When the line comes out, a bandage goes on the site. Leave it. Do not peel it off as soon as you stand up. Do not pull it off to look, then leave the site bare.
“A bit” is the note we publish. This page does not give a minute count. If the bandage is soaked or loose, call. Do not invent a new plan on the way home.
A standard IV visit is 45–60 minutes. The bandage note is the same after that visit, at the Bedford studio or at home.
Do not yank the site
The site is the small spot where the line was. Do not rub it hard. Do not pick at it. Do not press and tug the skin to check it. Look if you need to look. Then leave it alone. Yanking the site is the thing to skip.
Drink water
The drip is hydration and nutrients. It is not a reason to skip water the rest of the day. Drink water after you leave. If the RN came to you, drink water at home the same way.
The Bedford studio is 21 Commerce Park N, Suite D, Bedford, NH 03110. Studio visits have no travel fee. In-home is +$50 in the local area, more for outer towns, quoted before you book. The water note does not change with the fee.
Skip a hard workout the same hour if you feel lightheaded
Stand up slowly. If you feel lightheaded, sit back down. Do not start a hard workout that same hour. The note is narrow. It is not a week off. It is not a rule for a day when you feel steady.
If you feel steady, a normal day is fine. The note is that hour, and only if you feel lightheaded. It applies after a 45–60 minute drip and after a longer NAD+ sit the same way.
Call if the site looks wrong
Call or text (603) 714-1698 if the site looks wrong. Use that number for a Bedford drip. If you were at the Dover studio, call (603) 840-9192.
“Looks wrong” means you are worried about what you see. Bleeding that does not slow when you hold light pressure. Redness that is spreading. A site that looks different from a small mark. You do not need a perfect name for it. Call.
This page is not medical advice. It does not replace the RN who stayed through your drip. If you think you need emergency care, use emergency care. Do not wait on a blog post to decide that.
Where you were, and what this page is not
Hours are 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, 7 days. Dover is 15 Mechanic Street, Suite 117, Dover, NH 03820. Aftercare is the same at both studios. People book drips on hard days. The drip is still hydration and nutrients.
